a photo i took in 1993.. added sepia .. thought it was a nice effect.

this a photo of langar being prepared..
for more information on what langar is... see link [link]

but in brief.. langar / community kitchen. is where anyone regardless of caste, colour, religion, race, sex, nationality can be served free food.. "langar" hall is normally located adjacent to a sikh 'gurdwara' (place of worship)

tasty. this particularly caught my eye because of the fact that the light to dark contrast was so dramatic and not obnoxious. it's a very good looking piece... i think the imperfections on the print (i'm not sure whether or not that is intentional) make it an all around excellent piece.
